The Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) is a non-profit professional organization with members representing over 20 countries worldwide, working to transform the global meetings industry through sustainability.


The mission of the GMIC Florida/Caribbean Chapter is to lead the meetings and events industry in the advancement of sustainable practices in Florida and the Caribbean. We provide educational resources to planners, suppliers, and venues seeking to meet the ever-rising standards consumers set for sustainable meetings and events. And, we provide an opportunity for planners to connect with sustainability-minded suppliers and venues.


Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHSFL) is the oldest and largest statewide private not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida. Services include foster care, adoption, child development, emergency shelters, residential group homes, independent and transitional living for teens, parent education, counseling, mentoring, treatment for developmentally disabled children, and more.

Although these networking events are not intended as fund-raisers, representatives of the Children's Home Society of Florida will be on hand to inform you of ways in which you, and the professional organizations to which you belong, can support their vital work.
