Meet the Green Meeting Industry Council Board of Directors The Green Meeting Industry Council board of directors convenes monthly via teleconference and at least twice a year face to face. The Executive Director is the only compensated member of the board. The Council and its members are pleased to send our gratitude to this influential group for their support and guidance. All directors are currently working full-time in the meeting/events industry with a passion for encouraging sustainability by sharing from their experiences and the self-motivation to pioneer innovative practices. Without these crucial members, the GMIC would not be where it is today-- at the forefront of sustainable meetings. The GMIC fiscal year is July to June. Elections and nominations commence in January.
